MacMod Pro allows the placement of up to 20 bookmarks within a song. Bookmarks work with both the standard editor as well as the new staff editor. To create a bookmark in the standard editor, click on the button showing an open book with a bookmark in it. To create a bookmark in the staff editor, click on the top button above the vertical scroll bar. You can also choose ‘Place Bookmark’ from the Edit menu. A dialog will appear asking for the text you want the bookmark to hold and where you want the bookmark. • You must have at least one letter in the bookmark text field to place the bookmark! If you don't want any text, but just want the bookmark to mark a place in a song, then enter a space. You can get a listing of placed bookmarks by choosing ‘Bookmark Listing’ from the Edit menu or by clicking on the button beside the place bookmark button in the standard editor or by clicking on the bottom button above the vertical scroll bar in the staff editor. This listing will display all placed bookmarks’ text as well as their positions. To edit or remove a bookmark, click and hold on the bookmark’s red flag in either editor. A popup menu will appear displaying the bookmark’s text. Select this menu like you would a normal menu on the menu bar (ie: position the mouse over the menu and release the mouse button). The ‘Place Bookmark’ dialog box will be displayed holding the information of the selected bookmark. Here you can edit the text or position. To delete a bookmark simply delete all text in the ‘Bookmark Text’ field and choose ‘OK’. •Be sure not to include any characters except letters or numbers in the ‘Bookmark Text’ field. Any other character will not be displayed in the bookmark’s popup menu.
